Reve API: historical overview
Reve API was a short-lived image-generation and editing API built around Reve 2.1's native-4K renderer and structured layouts; Reve's official support notice says the API is no longer available.

What Reve API was
Reve launched the Reve 2.1 API on July 14, 2026 with standard image create and edit endpoints plus experimental layout-control endpoints. The company positioned structured layouts as a way to address and re-render individual regions of an image.
Reve then discontinued the API on August 14, 2026. The consumer Reve creative product remains active, but developers should not plan a new integration around this former API.
