What Diagram was
Diagram built experimental AI tools directly into the Figma workflow. Its best-known product, Magician, generated icons, images, and interface copy from prompts inside Figma, while earlier Diagram work also explored automation and generative interface design.
Figma acquired Diagram in June 2023 and brought its team into Figma's AI organization. Diagram's standalone products are no longer active. Designers looking for the current continuation should evaluate Figma AI and FigJam's native AI workflows rather than trying to adopt the old Diagram plugins.
