Dispatch keeps one continuing Claude conversation available on phone and desktop. A mobile request can trigger work with local files, connectors, plugins, developer tools, and, when enabled, direct computer use on the desktop before returning the result for review.
Anthropic now says Dispatch is unavailable to new users, although existing users can continue using it for now. It also requires the desktop to stay awake with Claude Desktop open, and its remote action chain can expose files, browsers, accounts, and applications to mistakes or malicious instructions.
