What ChatGPT Agent was
ChatGPT Agent combined multi-step research with a remote visual browser, a text browser, a terminal, and connected apps so it could investigate information and take actions on websites. OpenAI's current help documentation now states that ChatGPT Agent is no longer available. For longer projects and finished deliverables, OpenAI directs users to ChatGPT Work; for supported browser tasks, it directs users to ChatGPT's cloud browser.
