What CC was
Google introduced CC in December 2025 as an early Labs experiment for U.S. and Canadian consumer accounts. It assembled a “Your Day Ahead” email from Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive and web context, then let users steer it by replying with requests, memories and to-dos.
CC is no longer Google's current standalone productivity-agent offering. Google says the experiment informed Gemini Daily Brief, which now provides the proactive briefing experience inside Gemini, while Gemini Spark extends the concept into longer-running actions.
