What to consider

• GrantOrb's claims about winning quality, submission readiness, validation, time saved, and funding outcomes are vendor claims; this review did not independently test proposal quality or win rate.
• A match or eligibility check can be incomplete or wrong. Only the live funder documentation and written clarification establish the actual requirements.
• AI can fabricate open opportunities, deadlines, award amounts, eligibility, citations, statistics, priorities, partners, outcomes, budgets, and organizational capabilities.
• The vendor's site tells users they can start with only key project points, but a compliant application often requires detailed, approved evidence that a model must not infer.
• Generated prose may be polished yet generic, repetitive, culturally inappropriate, outside a word limit, inconsistent with the scoring rubric, or unlike the organization's authentic voice.
• The budget builder cannot authorize costs, certify match, validate payroll, approve indirect-cost treatment, or ensure that the narrative and required funder workbook reconcile.
• The platform cannot commit partners, sign certifications, make legal representations, authorize lobbying language, or accept responsibility for a submitted application.
• Grant and procurement records can contain sensitive beneficiary, health, education, employee, donor, financial, legal, partner, and security information that should be minimized before upload.
• GrantOrb's privacy policy says relevant profile, document, and prompt data is sent to OpenAI and Google Cloud or Gemini business services to provide results.
• When the MCP connector is enabled, necessary account information and generated content can flow into the selected third-party AI assistant under that assistant's separate terms and privacy policy.
• The connector can read and update profile information, run searches, create or review documents, and read procurement matches at the user's direction; permissions and account selection deserve careful review.
• The privacy policy describes retention for as long as needed to maintain the account and provide the service, followed by legally required retention, rather than a fixed default deletion window.
