Google is transitioning the NotebookLM name to Gemini Notebook, while the familiar notebooklm.google.com product remains active. The core idea has not changed: users assemble a notebook from documents, websites, media, or discovered sources, then chat with Gemini against that collection and open in-line citations back to the supporting excerpts.
The source range is broad: PDFs, Word, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, CSV, Markdown, ePub, images, pasted text, Google Docs, Slides and Sheets, public web pages, public captioned YouTube videos, audio, and Gemini chats. The Studio turns the same evidence set into different learning and communication formats.
