What Databutton was
Databutton helped nontechnical builders plan, generate and deploy full-stack web apps with an AI development agent. Its generated stack used React with TypeScript for the frontend and Python with FastAPI for the backend.
The Databutton product is no longer offered under that name. Its successor, Riff, has evolved from general-purpose app building toward governed AI agents for procurement, planning, logistics, order fulfillment and operational finance.
