What Google Flow Music (formerly Riffusion) is
Riffusion is no longer the standalone product represented by its original name. It rebranded as ProducerAI and now continues as Google Flow Music; the old Riffusion domain redirects to the current Flow Music application. The product remains active, but old Riffusion tutorials, model names, pricing, and interface descriptions are historical.
Google Flow Music pairs a conversational Producer agent with Google's Lyria music models. Creators can brainstorm lyrics, generate full-length songs, remix audio, edit individual song sections, create alternate covers, download tracks and stems, publish work, and build music videos with Google's generative video tools.
The current product is broader than the early Riffusion spectrogram experiment, but it is still an AI-assisted creative tool rather than a finished replacement for songwriting, performance, arranging, mixing, mastering, rights clearance, or release planning.
