What MagicSchool is
MagicSchool is built for educators and school staff rather than general consumer prompting. Its catalog spans lesson planning, worksheets, quizzes, presentations, differentiation, accommodation drafts, rubrics, family communication, feedback and other recurring K-12 work.
The platform uses multiple underlying models, including systems from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, and routes tasks through an education-focused layer. Raina provides a conversational assistant, while individual tools give educators more structured prompts and outputs for particular classroom jobs.
Student Rooms let a teacher select and configure tools, set an instructional goal, share access and view student activity. Children can enter only after being added by a school or educator, using an approved sign-on method or room code. A managed room is safer than an open consumer chatbot, but it does not remove the teacher's supervision duty.
MagicSchool says AI outputs are drafts, not final instructional decisions.
