Overview
Haiper AI is aimed at creators and product teams that need short generative video assets without building their own model pipeline. Its current Haiper Video 2.x tools cover text-to-video, image-to-video, keyframe conditioning, and video-to-video generation in the web and iOS apps.
The platform also includes Haiper Image models for text-to-image generation, plus an API and ComfyUI node for programmatic workflows. Video 2.x offers standard, smooth, and enhanced generation modes so users can favor fidelity, motion, or a combination of the two.
Haiper is best for concept shots, animated product or brand imagery, social clips, B-roll, and creative experimentation. Results still need review for identity, object consistency, text rendering, physics, and frame-to-frame artifacts before commercial delivery.
Use cases
The strongest fit depends on the job you need the product to complete, not the size of its feature list.
Turn product art, illustrations, concept frames, or branded images into short motion assets.
Generate several short treatments for camera movement, atmosphere, subject motion, or art direction before production.
Use multiple source images as conditioning frames when a clip needs to move between defined visual states.
Use the API or ComfyUI node to add Haiper image and video generation to a product or repeatable content workflow.
Create short campaign variations, stylized B-roll, and moving backgrounds that will be finished with captions, sound, and editing elsewhere.
Capabilities
Generate short 540p or 720p clips from a scene description, aspect ratio, duration, seed, and optional negative prompt.
Animate a source frame while using a prompt to describe the desired movement, camera behavior, and scene evolution.
Provide multiple images and frame positions to guide how the generated video changes over time.
Transform existing footage with the Haiper Video 2.x model in the app; current public API documentation still labels 2.x video-to-video as coming soon.
Select standard for fidelity, smooth for more motion, or enhanced for a balance of high fidelity and motion where supported.
Generate batches of four images at resolutions from 720p through 4K using the current Haiper Image family.
Authenticate with an API key, poll job status, and integrate generation through REST endpoints or Haiper's ComfyUI custom node.
Process
Step 1
Use text-to-video for open-ended concepts, image-to-video when composition or branding must be preserved, and keyframes when beginning and end states matter.
Step 2
Describe the subject, environment, action, camera move, and visual style. Put the most important terms early and use a negative prompt only for clear exclusions.
Step 3
Choose standard, smooth, or enhanced mode and test at 540p before spending more credits on 720p variations.
Step 4
Hold the source and core prompt steady while changing one variable at a time, such as motion strength, seed, or camera direction.
Step 5
Check faces, hands, logos, object counts, edges, reflections, lighting, and any transition where the subject becomes hidden or changes direction.
Step 6
Trim, sequence, color-correct, add captions and audio, and apply brand-safe text or logos in a conventional editor.
Cost
The Haiper web and iOS apps bill generation in credits, while the API publishes per-second and per-image dollar prices. Haiper's public documentation lists generation costs but not a fixed public dollar value for every app credit package, so check the in-app purchase screen before comparing subscription value.
5 credits per second
Lower-credit text-to-video and image-to-video generation.
8 credits per second
Higher-resolution current-model generation.
5–20 credits per 4 images
Text-to-image batches priced by output resolution.
$0.033–$0.05 per second
Programmatic 24 FPS text-to-video and image-to-video generation.
$0.04–$0.12 per image
Programmatic text-to-image generation priced by resolution.

Haiper can generate video from text or an image, transform video, condition a clip with multiple keyframes, and create still images from text.
Haiper has offered limited free creation, but current generation is metered in credits and paid access changes limits and features. Check the app for the current free allowance and the cash price of credit packages.
Haiper Video 2.x is listed at $0.033 per second for 540p and $0.05 per second for 720p text-to-video or image-to-video. Haiper Image 2.x ranges from $0.04 to $0.12 per image by resolution.
The current public pricing documentation lists 540p and 720p output for Haiper Video 2.x. Haiper Video 1.5 also has a separate 1080p Enhance operation.
Yes. Haiper provides authenticated REST endpoints for text-to-video, image-to-video, text-to-image, and keyframe workflows, plus a ComfyUI custom node.
Not automatically. Haiper's API documentation says is_public defaults to true, so integrations handling confidential or unreleased assets should explicitly set it to false and review the current data terms.
Bottom line
Haiper is a practical option for affordable short-form visual experimentation, particularly when a strong image or set of keyframes can anchor the result. Its API rates are easy to model, and 540p testing can keep iteration costs down. The main tradeoffs are 720p current-model output, generative consistency, and the need to configure privacy deliberately before sending sensitive assets.
