What Adelaide by Forbes was
Adelaide was launched by Forbes in October 2023 as a conversational news-search experiment. It used Google Cloud's Vertex AI Search and Conversation technology to answer questions from a datastore of Forbes journalism, preserve context across follow-up questions, and surface relevant articles for readers who preferred a chat-like discovery experience.
The public Adelaide experience is no longer active at its former Forbes address. Forbes later used the Adelaide name for AI-assisted article and branded-content experiments, but it no longer offers the original reader-facing search tool as a standalone destination.
