What Perplexity Projects is
Projects replace the older Spaces name and expand the workspace around Perplexity Search and Computer. Each project can carry instructions, files, prioritized links, connected tools, project-scoped skills, shared credentials, and a Brain that builds continuing memory from project activity.
Projects are private by default and have role-based collaboration, but copied connector files do not automatically update when the original changes. Users still need to verify citations and generated work, maintain project context, and manage connector, credential, and sharing permissions.
