The Rundown: Google DeepMind just rolled out two new expansions to its AI roster, making the new Gemini Pro available for developers to build via Google AI Studio, while also releasing ‘Imagen 2’ text-to-image model.

The details:

  • Google AI Studio enables prompting Gemini Pro with text and images to quickly build conversational agents, providing code for users to integrate into apps.

  • It offers generous rate limits for free, with paid plans coming —  but Gemini Pro API costs come in higher than GPT 3.5.
