The Rundown: The Biden administration just announced it will provide Intel with a massive $20B package to boost U.S. semiconductor production, marking the largest government AI investment to date.

Intel will receive $8.5B in direct grants and up to $11B in loans to support chip manufacturing projects.

The Rundown: According to a new report by TechCrunch, OpenAI's GPT Store is currently overrun with bizarre, spammy, and legally questionable offerings.
The details:
TechCrunch uncovered a slew of bots that blatantly infringe on copyrights, imitating Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars without permission.
Many GPTs openly advertise the ability to bypass AI content detection tools to catch cheating/plagiarism, violating OpenAI's ban on academic dishonesty.
Some listings also serve as funnels to paid third-party services, using misleading claims to lure in users.
