Consultants in the study using GPT-4 for creative tasks improved output but scored worse in analyzing a company's problems.
Researchers say AI created a "jagged frontier" - significant gains in some areas, hazards in others.
Participants failed to spot GPT-4's mistakes and relied on repetitive outputs, but guidance (aka Prompt Engineering) helped maximize benefits.

OpenAI’s latest update to its text-to-image generator DALL-E 3 is available to try in Bing, with some seriously significant upgrades.
Try it out for yourself (for free!) by following the steps below:

Create images: Type a text prompt describing your desired image. DALL-E is great at understanding conversational prompts — and can also generate text outputs.

The European Central Bank said it's assessing AI in nine projects, including using LLMs like ChatGPT. Potential uses include analyzing inflation, summarizing documents, and overseeing big banks, but the ECB is still stressed about giving up too much human control.
The CIA apparently isn’t the only defense branch angling to take advantage of the AI boom. The National Security Agency is reportedly creating an ‘AI Security Center,’ a new entity focused on developing practices and frameworks for secure AI adoption.
