An internal Amazon document was just leaked, showcasing how the company is encouraging workers to embrace ChatGPT and similar AI technologies.

The document, titled "Generative AI-ChatGPT Impact and Opportunity Analysis," showcases 67 potential use cases for ChatGPT across various teams at Amazon, including generating code, writing marketing material, and analyzing financial reports.

Some ideas mentioned in the document are already in the works, including a security automation tool and an engineering app for Amazon Web Services.

On February 9th, 1961, The Beatles made their musical debut at The Cavern Club in Liverpool, England. On December 8, 1980, John Lennon was shot and killed in New York City.

Now, more than 40 years after his death, artificial intelligence has made it possible to extract Lennon’s vocals from an old, low-quality cassette recording.

“When we came to make what will be the last Beatles record — it was a demo that John had, that we worked on, and we just finished it up, and it’ll be released this year — we were able to take John’s voice and get it pure through this AI so that then we could mix the record as you would normally do.”

John Lennon: gone but never forgotten.

A recent GitHub survey reveals that 92% of programmers are utilizing AI tools, with 70% reporting benefits from their use.

These tools enhance code quality, speeding up outputs and reducing production-level incidents.

However, the survey underscores that traditional metrics like code volume may no longer be the best measure of productivity. Amid AI-driven job losses, there's an increasing recognition that AI can supplement rather than replace human labor, with some workers reporting productivity boosts of up to 35%.
